Do you have the passion to become a teacher? Could you help to shape the future of young people across North Lincolnshire? Embark on an inspiring career and get into teaching with the North Lincolnshire SCITT Partnership.

As a trainee teacher with North Lincolnshire SCITT, you will spend the majority of time learning ‘on-the-job’ in schools, developing a practical toolkit of skills. Joining a friendly cohort of fellow learners, you will be able to access personalised support and a high quality training programme tailored to your needs.

From 9 October, applications to train will be open via Get into Teaching. To find out more, the team are hosting informal drop-in sessions, where you can chat about all things teaching. All sessions take place at the Learning Development Centre, Enderby Road, Scunthorpe, DN17 2JL on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 17 October 2018, 4.00-6.00pm
  • Thursday 22 November 2018, 4.00-6.00pm
  • Thursday 17 January 2019, 3.30-5.00pm
  • Wednesday 27 February, 4.00-5.30pm

Past trainees have rapidly risen into middle and senior leadership posts and highly recommend the partnership:

“It is a brilliant programme. You are working up through your teaching, able to know the children you teach by being in the school almost a full week”
